All legitimate adult industry companies are invited to submit a request to vote. The The Board of Governors votes on who to accept.

WHAT IS THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS?
Honest, well-known and qualified adult industry professional movie reviewers comprise The Board of Governors. votes on who to accept into the American Academy of Adult Arts And Entertainment.
They judge the exceptional talent that demonstrated excellence during the previous year & vote for both the winners and nominees.
The Board of Governors, along with the voting members, make up The American Academy of Adult Arts And Entertainment- AAAAAE.org
There are new qualified individuals added to The Board of Governors periodically. The Board of Governors votes on who to gets accepted into the American Academy of Adult Arts And Entertainment.
The individuals on The Board of Governors select the nominees in all the categories and theirs scores are also tabulated in to select the winners with the rest of the Academy members scores.The Board of Governors may not reveal their scores to any person or entity other than the other BOG or the cetifiying organization.
Any fundimental changes in the structure of the awards voting and/or categories can only be made with the unanimous decision by the BOARD OF GOVERNORS.
Anyone on The Board of Governors will be replaced if it is believed they have violated the voting trust or the Pledge they promised to adhere by.

WHO CHOOSES THE ADULTCON AWARDS WINNERS?
The members of The American Academy of Adult Arts And Entertainment select the winners in all categories, but have no vote on who is nominated.
Never in the history of the adult industry have so many adult professionals participated in selecting the best performers in the adult business.
This process enables the Adultcon Award winners to be chosen by their peers in the adult industry in an open, fair, honest and transparent forum.
The guidelines ensure the integrity of the process of the Adultcon Awards & make them the most credible and respected awards in the adult industry.
Adultcon Award recipients are determined by a nominating and voting board of governors consisting of qualified industry peers and adult industry professionals.

WHO CANNOT VOTE ON THE ADULTCON AWARDS WINNERS?
Nominees cannot vote.
No company or entity is permitted to vote on talent nominees if their contract star is nominated
or if the owner of a company is nominated for a talent award.
Hence, active voters are announce only after the Board of Governors scores are tabulated and the nominees are announced,

HOW DO THE VOTERS ACCESS THE MOVIES TO REVIEW?
Voters are given a passcode to access Hot Movies.com, a VOD website, to watch the nominated scenes and movies.

HOW ARE VOTES COLLECTED AND WHO COUNTS THEM?
Votes are mailed to the Academy and emailed to Attorney Gregory Alan Rutchik of the Arts and Technology Law firm based in San Francisco.
He tabulates and certifies the original votes.

HOW ARE THE AWARDS PRESENTERS SELECTED?
Female nominees are not eleigible to be presenters in the same year they are nominees.
Female presenters are selected from among the pre-nominess and present to the male winners.
This gives them the opportunity to share the limelight even after missing out on a nomination.
There are so few male talent of stature, that they are invited to present awards to the female winners, even if they are a nominee.
Sponsors can pay a fee to present awards.

WHAT ARE THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS (BOG) RULES & PROTOCOL & WHAT SAFEGUARDS ARE IN PLACE AGAINST FRAUD?
In order to maintain the integrity of the awards voting:
1) The BOARD OF GOVERNORS all see each others scores by emailing each other directly.
2) Attorney Gregory Allan Rutchik from the Arts and Technology Law Group in San Francisco, counts and certifies the original signed voting ballots.
These safeguards in place to provide a level of protection that Adultcon is not involved in the voting or selecting of nominees or winners.
The indusrty can trust that the count is fair, honest and that Adultcon had no authority or input in the process or on the results.

WHAT IS ADULTCON'S ROLE IN THE ACADEMY?
Adultcon is the organization that created and set up the structure of the Academy. Adultcon oversees the Academy and is the cathalyst who ensures that pre-nominations, nominations and voting is functioning. Adultcon is also the producer of the Adultcon Awards show and ceremony & post-party. Doing business with Adultcon will not affect the outcome of the voting at any stage of the voting process.
