PRESS/MEDIA
QUALIFICATIONS
Adultcon
makes coverage easy for
major recognized media outlets.
Each
year Adultcon welcomes members of the media from all over
the world.
The only means for press access consideration is to pre-register.
There will be no onsite
registration.
Members
of the press and media are admitted to Adultcon with a complimentary
"media wristband".
This wristband is good for entry to all of the events held
at Adultcon (space permitting). including seminars and events
but does not guarantee seating.
Please keep in mind that press/media registration is a courtesy
and your wristband is non-transferable an you may not sell
it.
A wristband does not allow for plus ones or guests.
Because
of a variety of rules governing the LA Convention Center and
Adultcon,
wheeled carts or hand carts are not allowed in the convention
center.
Additionally,
camera crews, while free to roam the show, may not set up
equipment in a fixed manner (i.e. lights, chairs, etc.).
Filming or recording of panels, seminars and workshops must
first obtain the permission of anyone being filmed.
Any videotaping, filming, or recording of any manner which
will be used for commercial purposes (non-news) must first
obtain written permission from Adultcon International. The
videotaping of panels, seminars and workshops is prohibited
and panels, seminars and workshops cannot be recorded in their
entirety without written permission from Adultcon International.
Still
phots are permitted.
As always, the issuance of a press/media wristband is at the
sole discretion of Adultcon.
REQUEST DEADLINE
Adultcon press/media
credentials will not be addressed less than 7
business days before
each event unless the request is from a major
recognized media outlet.
To receive press
/media credentials, we require verification of the editorial
press corps, photographers & broadcast crew.
Press/
Media passes are given out to news organizations only.
Examples of these organizations include accredited TV stations,
radio stations, newspapers, and magazines.
We do not provide passes to independent
show producers,
private production companies, research projects, photographers
or individuals.
PLEASE
NOTE
1. All media requests will be thoroughly researched before
being rejected or granted.
2. A drivers license or a passport and a business card is
required to receive a press/media wristband /badge.
Press/media that have not previously covered Adultcon, must
first establish credibility
by following this is policy to receive press/media credentials:
Email

ONE
OF THESE ITEMS MUST BE PROVIDED
1. A copy of a published article with your byline in a
major recognized media outlet.
2. A
major recognized media outlet
publication masthead listing you as a contributor/staff
member.
3.
A letter from your publisher/editor or broadcast producer
on official stationary from a
major
recognized media outlet.
You
will receive an email confirmation of your credential qualification
if approved.
Due to the large number of requests we receive, our staff
does not have time to respond to all requests.
If you have not received an email confirmation
less than 7 business days
before the event, your application was denied.
GUIDELINES
Adultcon requires links to any coverage to be emailed
within 3 days of Adultcon ending.
Your press / media credentials will give you credibility with
the talent.
Presenting Adultcon in an un-flatering light wil result in
your press /media privilege being revoked as well as your
organization, permanently.
Do not request the talent to flash or display any type of
nudity.
This will cause immediate ejection and void your press /media
privilege permanently.
This is illegal & as such shows a lack of respect for
the law, what we are doing for the talent & will not be
tolerated.
