POLICY
Each
year, Adultcon welcomes members of the media from all over
the world.
Adultcon
approves FREE MEDIA BADGES ONLY TO
MAJOR ACCREDITED NATIONAL AND LOCAL NEWS ORGANIZATIONS,
SUCH AS CNN, MSNB, FOX NEWS, WALL STREET JOUNAL, USA TODAY,
LA TIMES, LA WEEKLY AND OTHER MAJOR NATIONAL OR LOCAL
PUBLICATIONS AND NEWS STATIONS.
Anyone
recording content, conducting interviews or
covering the event
for ANY purpose -other than MAJOR recogizable media outlets
such as the ones listed above-must purchase a $60
GOLD WEEKEND
VIP
TICKET
and pre-register
by emailing Adultcon@yahoo.com
for
pre-approval to receive an emailed confirmation to get a
VIP MEDIA BADGE with your $60 GOLD WEEKEND VIP TICKET.
In your email please provide background on and purpose of
your project. If approved, you will receive an approval email
back confirming that you will be issued a VIP
MEDIA BADGE
for your project.
Please go to the PRE-PAID VIP TICKETS DESK to pick up your
pre-paid VIP ticket(s) on any show day and present your approval
email on paper or on your mobile device to receive your VIP
MEDIA BADGE on site. MEDIA
BADGES
are not shipped
and will only be issued to PRE-APPROVED individuals. Your
MEDIA BADGE
is valid for all 3 event days with your Gold Weekend VIP Ticket.
For each event, we issue a limited number of MEDIA BADGES
and approve only those requests that are legitimate and those
who we feel will positively benefit the adult entertainers,the
exhibiting companies and the adult entertainment industry
in general. The adult entertainers are at Adultcon with the
primary goal of earning income and boosing their profile and
noteriety, only projects that synergizes with their goal will
be considered for approval.
We
limit the number of MEDIA BADGES that we approve simply due
to the fact that the adult entertainers time is scarce during
the event as they want to focus on fans who are there to meet
them, pay to take pictures with and purchase their mechandise.
Adultcon wants to protect the entertainers limited time so
they can maximize potential income and only dedicate their
valuable time and attention to other purposes if such investment
will be fruitful to them. Therefore, each MEDIA BADGE request
is highly scutinized. If approved, we ask that you kindly
respect the entertainers time, so that your future MEDIA
BADGE requests can also be considered.
PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS NO
ON SITE MEDIA REGISTRATION FOR FREE OR PAID MEDIA BADGES.
NO EXCEPTIONS.
VIP MEDIA BADGES
ARE AVAILABLE ONLY WITH AN ADVANCE PURCHASE OF $60
GOLD WEEKEND VIP TICKET AND AVAILABLE TO:
TV stations
Radio stations
Newspapers
Magazines
Independent
show producers
Production companies
Research projects
Photographers
Freelancers
Bloggers
Podcasts
Internet shows
COMMERCIAL CONTENT BADGES- $1,000
Any
videotaping, filming, or recording of any manner which will
be used for commercial/content gathering purposes (non-news)
must first obtain a commercial/content badge.
A Commercial badge gives permision
to anyone that wants to tape video and audio for commercial
/ content purpooses.
Only one person needs the commercial badge/wristband but others
in the group must pay $50.
This includes on-air talent, film, sound and all support staff
and crew.
It is valid all show hours.
It is valid to Interview the fans and exhibitors.
It is valid to interview all models or talent but only after
getting their permisson.
They are valid for in/out all weekend.
No
one from or works for Adultcon, is available for interviews

MAJOR
MEDIA OUTLET BADGES ARE NO CHARGE
Requests
from major media outlets will be accepted only by email and
only from a publisher, editor, assignment desk or station
manager from a
major
recognized media outlet
TV
stations
Radio stations
Newspapers
Magazines
All
major media outlet requests will be thoroughly researched
before being rejected or granted.
A drivers license or passport and a business card is required
for a media badge if approved.
Media that have not previously covered Adultcon, must first
establish credibility
by following this policy to receive a media badge.
DEADLINE
Media requests
will be addressed up to the day before
opening day from major
TV outlets.
All others will not get a reply.
Email
us your request no
less than 5 days before the first day of the show.
We do not review requests after that date.
APPROVAL
You
will receive an email confirmation only if approved.
Badges can be picked up at the will-call desk 30 minutes after
the show opens
Media badges are non-transferable.
Media badges do not allow for "plus ones" or guests.
Guests must buy an admission ticket.
Talent will not conduct interviews to those without a media
wristband.
Your media badge will give you access and credibility with
the talent, fans and exhibitors.
Adultcon requires links to any coverage to be emailed within
3 days of Adultcon ending.
No one from, or works for Adultcon, is available for interviews
VENUE
POLICIES
Media will not be allowed entry until the show opens- There
are no exceptions
Interviews
are not permitted without a media badge.
Because of a variety of rules governing the LA Convention
Center and Adultcon,
wheeled carts or hand carts are not allowed in the convention
center.
Camera crews, while free to roam the show, may not set up
equipment in a fixed manner
(i.e. lights, chairs, etc.).
Issuance
of a media badge is at the sole discretion of Adultcon, and
may be revoked.
We ask that all approved Media please be respectful of all
our attendees and exhibitors.
Adultcon does not tolerate coverage that includes stunt type
events or any actions that may make any of our attendees,
models or exhibitors feel unsafe or uncomfortable.
DISPARAGEMENT
Presenting Adultcon in an un-flatering light wil result in
your personal media privilege being revoked permanently, as
well as your organization.
VICE LAW
LAPD Vice is in the show undercover all hours.
Do
not request the talent to flash or display any type
of nudity.
This is illegal and you are subject to arrest for solicitation
if caught.
Doing so will cause immediate ejection and void your media
privilege permanently.
