A member of "The Usual Suspects" cast was in the house at the Omni Hotel Downtown as Kevin Pollak hosted an Academy Awards after party.  Dubbed the 68th Annual Academy Awards After Party, its guests were greeted by a steel drummer.   Pollak celebrated his film's dual victories in the confines of the cigar room.

My last stop is Hotel Sofitel Ma Maison.  This event was thrown by Renaud West (West Entertainment Group), Sally Kirkland and Martin Landau.  There is nothing like Hotel Sofitel Ma Maison this side of Paris.  The warmth of this unique French style hotel has the finest nouvelle cuisine and perfect ambiance for romance.  Rolls and Cords were lined up on its cobblestoned driveway.  Hotel Sofitel Ma Maison was the perfect place to check out with a late nightcap after endless hours of Oscar mania.

"A salute to the 65th Annual Academy Awards" at the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel will kick off at 8:30 p.m..  Organizers said honorary host Pia Zadora will be among the expected 1,500 guests, along with co-hosts Bruce Jener and Ted McGinley.
