is modeled after the Academy Awards system of voting.
The Adultcon Awards are "The Adult industy equivalent of the Oscars"
as related to the prestige and produre the winners are decided.

Never in the history of the adult industry have so many adult professionals
participated in selecting the best performers, movies & directors in the adult business.
Nominees and winners can take pride in knowing that their peers have chosen them
givng their award a special meaning.

The Adultcon Awards will honor the talent that have achieved excellence
in the quality of their performance in adult video.

The Adultcon Awards will honor the director and movies that have achieved excellence in the previous year.

They are achievement-based awards dedicated to recognizing outstanding talented individuals
that have contributed to the advancement of the arts within the adult industry.

This process enables the Adultcon Award winners to be chosen by their peers in the adult industry in an open, fair, honest and transparent forum.
The guidelines ensure the integrity of the process of the Adultcon Awards & make them the most credible and respected awards in the adult industry.

Adultcon Award recipients are determined by a nominating and voting board of governors consisting of qualified industry peers and adult industry professionals.
Both the nominating and voting processes are transparent.
In order to ensure openness and fairness in the voting process, all voters names are posted on the Awards web site.

Adultcon has NO input or authjority to decide the nominees or winners. Doing business with Adultcon is not required to participate.
